With obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and inactivity at their all time high, I believe that now is the time for upcoming graduates to use their education. Not just to benefit themselves, but to help to educate others. It is astonishing to me the people that I have worked with who are not aware of which foods fall in to which groups, who are absoulutely sedentary all day and see no implications of this to their health.
It is time for a revolution! I believe that change lies with in the health insurance agencies. I plan to devote my career to working with one of these companies that cares about its clients.
Career Objectives
Work in a corporate wellness position, as I feel this will allow me to reach a greater number of people with my message.
Use my skills in marketing, motivation, nutrition, and fitness, to help people live the healthiest life possible, while still enjoying friends, family, food, and culture.
Helping to lower healthcare cost in this country, and of course to the company that employs me.
